Bonds are taking a "hit" today as Initial Jobless Claims for the week ended 02/26/11 came in lower than expected at 368,000.  Analysts had been expecting a 400,000 figure.  The 4 week moving average for Initial Claims is now 388,500, which is the lowest level since July 2008.  Continuing Claims for the week ended 2/19/11 came in at 3.774 million which was lower than the 3.80 million expected.  Separately, the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) Service Sector Index came in at 59.7 for February which was higher than the 59.0 expected.  Anything over 50.0 represents expansion.
