Bonds are under pressure again today as investors believe that European officials may finally be getting the message regarding the ineffectiveness of the strategy of calling emergency meetings to announce continued delays in a comprehensive solution for the near to medium term sovereign debt problems.

In economic news, Initial Jobless Claims for the week ended 10/1/11 came in at 401,000 which was just slightly under the 402,000 that had been expected.
