Mortgage-backed securities continue to outperform US Treasury notes this morning as investors look for higher yields.  The economic calendar in the US is vacant.  Stocks are slightly positive in the US and up in Europe, despite an S&P warning yesterday that it may downgrade 15 European countries including Germany and France and the European Bailout Fund.
