The economic calendar is vacant today.  The Dow is currently down about 125 points which should provide support for the Treasury bill auctions.  From a technical analysis perspective, Larry Baer with Market Alert shows us in a  float zone while we watch to see if there is a sustained movement downward in the Dow.  We continue to recommend starting the refinance process now if you are planning to refinance in order to get in front of a new national appraisal process for conforming loans that will begin May 1.  You can start the processing of your loan and wait to lock until you are closer to closing.
