Market Analysis

The bond market is down this morning (slightly higher rates) on a movement of capital from bonds to stocks.  The Dow has currently moved over the 8000 level on significantly better than expected projections of 1st quarter profit from Wells Fargo.  Additionally Japan is expected to unveil a $150 billion stimulus package for its economy on Friday which has causes Asian equity markets to rally.  In economic news, jobless claims for the week ended April 4 came in just about at analyst's expectations and chain store sales posted a slightly larger decline for March than analysts had been expecting.
