Market Analysis

The PCE, the inflation component of today's Personal Income and Spending Report showed core inflation (excluding food and energy) in check.  The market is flat though on the income and spending components of the report which were stronger than expected.  Also in early morning trading oil traded at above $142 a barrell, a new record.
